  10. Thanks to the Yankee Clipper Contest Club PacketCluster Network for
  11. the items in this week's bulletin.
  12.  
  13. KINGMAN REEF.  Hungry DXers who were busy on PacketCluster spotting
  14. the /MM operations and the vessel's location as it approached the
  15. reef can relax.  N9NS/KH5K is on the air.  They have been worked
  16. from the eastern United States on 7020 and 14195 kHz, QSX up,
  17. between 1200 and 1300z.  Plans call for satellite, six meter and
  18. four HF stations to be up and running.  SSB, CW and RTTY operators
  19. will all have a chance to work this one.

  21. PALMYRA ISLAND.  As of press time there have been no spots
  22. indicating that the Palmyra operation has started.  Stay tuned to DX
  23. nets and keep an eye on the PacketCluster screen for N0AFW/KH5.
  24.  
  25. BANGLADESH.  S21ZM has been very busy on 20 meters.  CW operations
  26. are happening between 0130 and 0230z around 14023 kHz, QSX up.  For
  27. SSB check 14256 kHz around 1200z.

  29. FERNANDO DE NORONHA.  Peter, PY5CC, has been operating PY0FM on 7063
  30. kHz QSX 7188 and 3796 kHz QSX 3802, between 2300 and 0100z.

  32. SPRATLY ISLANDS.  The big, one week operation slated to begin this
  33. weekend has been postponed.  Expect Spratly to be active no earlier
  34. than April.
  35.  
  36. NORTHERN MARIANAS.  There have been no spots yet for the Rota Island
  37. operation of AH0AL by Tosy, JA6VZB.  Stay tuned.

  39. MELLISH REEF.  This just in to W1AW.  Mellish Reef will return to
  40. the airwaves mid to late September 1993.  A multinational team of
  41. DXers will travel via the yacht Banyandah, captained by Jack, KB7NW.
  42. The team includes VK4CRR, VK2RQ/VK2BJ, P29DX/G4JVG and WA4DAN.

  44. Plans are for three or four, legal limit stations to operate around
  45. the clock for eight days.  They will be on 160 through 6 meters,
  46. with monoband Yagis on the higher bands, and verticals and wires on
  47. the lower bands.

  53. CHANGE IN DXCC COUNTRIES LIST.  On March 10 the ARRL Awards
  54. Committee voted unanimously to accept the DXAC recommendation to
  55. delete Abu Ail Islands from the DXCC Countries List, effective March
  56. 31, 1991.  When the Red Sea Lights Company relinquished control of
  57. the islands on that date, they became unadministered.  Because of
  58. this change of status, the area now falls under Point 4 of the
  59. Countries List Criteria.

  61. THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The YL-ISSB QSO Party is this weekend.
  62. Check page 115 of January QST for details.  The Wisconsin QSO Party
  63. will be held on the 14th and 15th.  For more info, see page 109 of
  64. February QST.
